Logistics Support

Availability, controlled costs and full traceability: RAMT, LORA, LCC, spares, maintenance plans, technical publications and KPI dashboards. Actionable deliverables built to decide and execute.

Why ILS?

ILS is designed to increase availability and reduce total cost of ownership (LCC) by structuring maintenance, spares, documentation and indicators. It is especially valuable when downtime is rare, costly, or when multiple contractors are involved.

AvailabilityReduce MTTR, control MTBF, improve uptime
LCCBalance quick wins vs CAPEX over a 3–10 year horizon
TraceabilityDocuments, configurations, spares, versions
Who is it for?

Typical cases where ILS delivers fast ROI:

Operations & Maintenance

When maintenance is purely reactive and operations need to be stabilised.

  • Unpriorised maintenance backlog
  • Intermittent failures / missing parts
  • Time lost searching for docs & references

Refit / Modernisation

When an equipment change requires securing support & spares.

  • Architecture & supplier decisions
  • Spares strategy & interchangeability
  • Documentation & training

Contracts & Contractors

When responsibilities, performance and service levels need to be clearly defined.

  • Maintenance contracts / warranties
  • KPIs & penalties / bonuses
  • Procedures & traceability

Insurance & Compliance

When documentary evidence and history are critical.

  • Intervention & parts history
  • Sourced timelines
  • Configuration & versions

What ILS covers (modules)

ILS is assembled from modules. We typically start with a short scope (MVP) and expand from there.

RAMT (Reliability & Maintainability)

Identify weak points and build a measurable improvement plan.

  • MTBF / MTTR, failure modes
  • Root cause analysis (data-driven)
  • Reliability plan & prioritised actions
RAMTMTBFMTTR

LORA (Repair / Replace / Outsource)

Determine the right intervention strategies and stock levels.

  • Repair vs replace vs subcontract
  • Maintenance levels (O/I/D)
  • Operational constraints & lead times
LORASparesSLA

Spares & Interchangeability

Eliminate downtime caused by unavailable parts.

  • Critical / recommended spares list
  • References, equivalents, obsolescence
  • Stock & replenishment strategy
SparesObsolescenceProcurement

Maintenance Plans (Preventive / Condition-based)

Standardise tasks and cut unnecessary interventions.

  • Task sequences & intervals
  • Condition-based (sensor / log driven)
  • Checklists & acceptance criteria
MaintenanceCBMChecklists

Technical Publications

Documentation that is actually usable day-to-day — and kept up to date.

  • Document tree & version control
  • Equipment sheets / procedures
  • Revisions & traceability
DocsVersionsRevisions

KPI Dashboard

Measure operations and drive performance.

  • KPIs: MTBF/MTTR, backlog, availability
  • Downtime, causes, costs
  • Rituals: monthly review, action plans

Process

Simple: scoping → data collection → analysis → findings.

1) Scoping

Objectives, scope, constraints, systems, data availability.

2) Data Collection

Docs, logs, maintenance history, spares inventories, interviews.

3) Findings

Observations, risks, recommendations, 30/60/90-day plan.

FAQ
What data is needed to get started?

At minimum: an equipment list, available documents (as-built, manuals), and a maintenance history (even if incomplete). We can start with an MVP and build from there.

Is ILS suitable for a yacht / vessel with limited downtime?

Yes — ILS is particularly useful when the intervention window is short. We prioritise critical spares, checklists and procedures to secure operations.

Do you deliver in English?

Yes, deliverables are available in FR/EN depending on need and scope.

How long does an ILS engagement take?

An MVP can be completed in 2–6 weeks depending on data availability. Extension phases (in-depth RAMT/LORA, docs, dashboards) are planned afterwards.
